eAPIS manifest filing for private and ferry flights
Every private flight crossing the United States border files an eAPIS manifest before it moves, inbound and outbound. We file it as part of the same package as the Landing Rights request and the customs entry.
- Manifest in, on time
- Inbound and outbound manifests filed
- Crew changes and late roster swaps handled
- Submitted with Landing Rights and customs together
- Filed for ferry crews and owner flights alike
What has to be on the manifest
Full traveller details for everyone on board, the aircraft identity, and the departure and arrival points and times. The detail has to match the travel documents exactly, because a mismatch is treated as an error rather than a typo.
Why ferry flights get this wrong
Ferry rosters change. A crew swap the night before departure, a mechanic joining for the leg, or a tech stop that becomes an overnight all change what has been filed. The manifest has to follow those changes, and on a movement we are running, it does.
