Customs

Importer of record and exporter of record for aircraft

Some owners do not want their name on a customs entry, and some buyers have no US entity to file under at all. Because we are bonded with CBP, we can act as importer or exporter of record on the movement.

  • Your aircraft, our name on the entry
  • Owner privacy on the customs record
  • A route in for buyers with no US entity
  • Same team handling the entry and the flight
  • Available on import and export movements

Why owners ask for it

Aircraft transactions are visible. Entry records are one of the places a pending deal, a fleet change or an ownership structure can become public earlier than the parties intended. Acting as importer or exporter of record puts our name in that field instead.

How it works in practice

We review the transaction documents and the aircraft file first, then take the filing position for the movement. The owner keeps the aircraft, the title and the transaction, and we carry the customs role for the entry.
